Ftelia beach is Mykonos' most bohemian beach. It is a sandy beach, much less crowded that Mykonos famous beaches, which makes it an ideal place to relax and enjoy the greek sea and sun. It is worth going up the steps to the bar for a view over the beach. Even though the beach is quite large, it remains surprisingly, and thankfully, undeveloped. You will always have plenty of space to spread your towel, and often no one around you in the crystal-clear sea.
Platys Gialos is a beautiful beach with crystal-clear waters. It is also a convenient starting point to discover other beaches, on foot or a water taxi. It is connected to Mykonos Town by frequent bus services.
Super Paradise is one of the most famous beaches on the island, home to the also famous Super Paradise Beach Club. It is mostly crowded and full of life, but at the same time the water and the views are just perfect. Although it is a party beach, the calm waters also attract families and couples on honeymoon.
A relatively small beach, Paraga is one of the island’s most popular beaches. It is within walking distance from Paradise Beach, and can be reached by bus. From here you can actually see the island of Delos in the distance.
Known as a family-friendly beach, Ornos is also one of Mykonos' trendiest, most popular and crowded beaches. It offers lots of restaurants and places to stay, and is a frequent stop of many boats and yachts. It is located in the south of the island, and is for those who prefer a more developed, resort atmosphere.
